ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!
ATTITUDE DETERMINES THE OUTCOME
Attitude really is your deciding factor. The situation doesn’t matter, whether your trying to improve a relationship, better your health or build a business, your attitude will determine your outcome. This is largely due to the fact that your mindset will also determine your choices and if you are going to RESPOND or REACT to a particular situation.
ATTITUDE IS A CHOICE
Let’s face it we all have “stuff” that happens, no one is immune. But, we don’t all choose to handle it the right way and when we choose wrong…YIKES, we usually make it worse! I remember one day when my kids were small, I was getting really upset because one of my boys spilled their cereal milk all over the floor, it was an A-HA moment for me. I felt God quietly remind me that I had two choices, get upset…over spilled milk, pun intended 😉 or I could just clean it up, have my son help to teach him responsibility and move on with my day. I GOT to CHOOSE what kind of a moment I was going to create.
I have been choosing my moments ever since then. I would LOVE to say that I have had all good moments, but that would be a LIE. My attitude is usually very optimistic. I’m a positive person with a bright outlook, but yes, I do have my moments….you can ask my husband if you don’t believe me.
Your attitude belongs to you, so own it!
We all fall short sometimes, but even in those moments we get to choose what kind of an attitude we are going to have. Are we going to wallow in self pity and bathe in self doubt or are we going to stand up brush ourselves off, learn from our mistakes and move on. It’s the condemnation that will kill you. It’s important to fill your mind with the truth and learn to think positive. Your mind set and your choices influence everyone you interact with on a daily basis.
On a daily basis I help people. I help my children grow into responsible adults…at least I think that’s what I’m doing…and I help people achieve their health ,weight loss and business goals. I have a team of people who look to me for guidance. If I allowed every little thing that happened to have power over me and upset me, I would BE a MESS and I would be creating a MESS!!
I have learned that in order to help others I have to work on myself daily. My attitude is important because it effects them. My attitude towards them can create moments in their lives either good or bad. God has given us the wonderful gift of having the freedom to choose something as BIG as our own attitude.
Life is full of challenges and spilled milk, it’s how you handle it that matters. Attitude really is everything. So next time the milk spills, remember…
you get to choose…
what kind of a moment you are going to create
for yourself and everyone else involved.
