God is at work behind the scenes when it’s raining
Waiting…waiting…waiting….it seems as if the majority of our lives are spent doing some kind of waiting. We’re always waiting on something, or someone. We’re always sitting in anticipation of how some situation or circumstance is going to turn out and if we don’t learn how to rest in God’s love during the waiting periods, we aren’t going to experience much joy in life.
We are created in such a way that we anticipate and look forward to what’s coming next. God created us to be people of progression. That anticipation can look one of two ways:
1. We are fearful and anxious about the future
2. We have a positive expectation about the future, regardless of what circumstances look like, because we are confident in God’s love for and towards us.
The rain makes the flowers grow and refreshes the soul. The harvest comes after the rain. God never promised that we would not have trials or hard times but He did promise to use all things together for good for those who love Him.
“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together
and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and
are called according to [His] design and purpose.”
Romans 8:28 Amp
There are no days or circumstances that God does not have His one eye on you. Even when it seems like He has forgotten and is no where to be found, He is still working behind the scenes in your heart and life.
Keep asking for a deeper revelation of His great love for you and hold on. The harvest is coming, after all it’s raining, right?
