Making a confident choice should never depend on
faith in your own ability
We’ve all felt it. That overwhelming feeling of doubt and dread that sneaks into our hearts and tell us the it’s up to us to make the right decision, and we had better not mess up.
The fear of getting it wrong imobilizes us and we stand there looking at our choices—confused and overwhelmed. So we just contiue to stand there looking, staring and focusing on the choices.
Our ability to make the right choice is not what we should be focusing on though. We should be focusing on our God. We should be focuing on His love for us and the fact that no matter which direction we choose to go, He is still faithful.
Sometimes you have to just start walking. You have to put one foot in front of the other and trust that God is with you no matter which direction you choose to go. When your confidence is in Him, either direction will get you where you need to be.
Put your trust and confidence in His love for you. Not your abilty to choose right.
