Do you have a goal, a dream, a passion, something you want more than anything? I do. For the last 15 years I have wanted to share God’s love with the world. I want to tell everyone about how amazing his grace is and that they are no longer bound by laws, rules and regulations that they could never live up to. I want to scream from the roof tops JESUS LOVES YOU JUST AS YOU ARE!! I want believers to know that they don’t have to live in a constant roller coaster of emotions trying to be good enough. This is my passion.
I went to Bible Collage, became a pastor, speaker and author (My book The Power Of Resting will be out this spring). Some would say I am achieving my dream. I am, but along the way I have had to make some tough decisions. Sometimes, I’ve even made the wrong ones. God is faithful though and has continually brought me back to what really matters most in my heart.
If you have a dream, I am sure you have found that part of achieving it is waiting…and waiting…and waiting some more. It’s easy to feel like you should fill in the time and space with something else. I want to caution you though…you can’t pick up every shiny thing you see and run with it. Sometimes you have to say no to something good in order to say yes to something great.
Stay focused on what is truly in your heart and ask God to guide you and make it really clear about your direction. Don’t say yes to something just because you think you might miss out on what someone else is getting. Maybe that is their dream, but if it’s not yours, then you’ll be missing out.
My new book The Power Of Resting will be out this spring. For book quotes and daily inspiration come join me over on my facebook page Can’t wait to see you there!
That’s my two cents for the day!
