What if it was? Have you ever really thought about it? Probably not, it’s one of those things that most people don’t sit and think about – but, I’m not most people, just ask my husband. I think about all kinds of crazy stuff and then I find some spiritual significance in it that could be turned into a sermon, or a blog post. I like to think that this is one of the ways that God speaks to me about stuff. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn’t 😉
If the world was flat, travel would be interesting and there would be places so far away that the chances of us actually ever going there would be slim to none. In my head it seems like that would be a lot of starting over and backtracking instead of moving on. If the world was flat we could get too close to the edge and actually fall off! YIKES!
I’m glad that God’s not flat, He’s round. He gives us plenty of chances to start over by giving us the choice to just keep going. We make mistakes and have plenty of faults and flaws – at least I know I do – yet, we never have to worry about falling off the face of the earth, because God made it round.
He made it round so that we could always feel like we we’re moving forward. No, I didn’t read that in the Bible, no scripture verse to back it up. I’m just sayin’ 😉 Doesn’t it feel good to think that there’s NO PLACE you can go that’s actually a dead end? There are no mistakes that are so BIG they are unforgivable and there is NOTHING you can do that will make God love you any less and quit working in your life. Remember, He’s round He just keeps going.
If you’ve ever felt like you were to the end – of anything – yourself, a situation, a mistake, a season in life, an emotional battle etc.. remember that the earth is round. So, just keep going!
That’s my two cents for the day!
